An Interesting Development

As if the mystery surrounding EA's Trilogy wasn't enough, it turns out that the original reports that Trilogy being an RTS designed out of EA's new Los Angeles Offices are false. The RTS doesn't even have a name yet! Turns out Trilogy is ANOTHER Game being developed in Northern California at the Bay Area Headquarters. So not only will EA be releasing Return of the King later this year, but then at least TWO more games based on Peter Jackson's film trilogy.

What kind of game will Trilogy be? What will the RTS be called? Just how many Lord of the Rings games will there be!? We'll have this and more for you first here at your ONE Resource for Tolkien Gaming Online - Gaming Havens.

Everquest Beta Test for the Macintosh

I know we have a lot of Mac Users out there so I thought I would share this. Everquest, the Massively Multiplayer Overly Addictive Roleplaying Game is coming to the Mac OS, and Sony Online Entertainment want YOU to join the Beta Test! [More]

UPDATE: We just learned that Mac players and PC players won't be connecting to the same server, so if you have friends with PC's and were hoping to finally get to play Everquest with them, it won't be an option.

Decipher talks future releases

Decipher announced plans today for the long-term future of The Lord of the Rings? Trading Card Game. In addition to the first nine sets announced before the game launched in November 2001, nine new expansion sets and collector's products are being added to the list through 2007. "If you're already playing Lord of the Rings TCG, I have to say 'you haven't seen anything thus far.' If you have yet to pick up this incredible game, now is the time," said Decipher Chairman & CEO Warren Holland. [More]

UPDATE: New Line has kindly asked us to remove the file as they want the first view of ROTK to be much better quality than this.
